REGISTRATION & ATTENDANCE
There is no registration cost for this event. We do ask that you complete the required registration form. Please do communicate with us if your plans to attend change after you have sent your registration form.
We are inviting students from other private schools in Izmir that offer programs in English. All ACI students will be able to attend, and the school day is being formatted around this event. Universities from throughout Europe, the UK, Canada, Turkey, and the US will be in attendance. Agents, consultants, private companies, etc have not been invited and will not be allowed to attend.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE – OCTOBER 11
11:30 – 12:00 University representatives conducting workshops must arrive. Buses from Isikkent High School college event will arrive. Lunch will be provided.
13:15 – Workshop Session A
14:00 – Workshop Session B
14:15 – University representatives arrive to set-up tables for the college fair portion of the event
14:45 – 17:00 College Fair (outside in our garden campus – weather permitting)
17:15 – Group Photo in ACI Amphitheatre
17:30 – Dinner at ACI Alumni House
19:30 – Buses depart for airport and hotels
A final schedule will be shared with registered participants in September. We will have transportation available to take you to the airport or major hotels after dinner. All Education Day events will take place on the ACI campus.
STUDENT ATTENDANCE
All ACI students in Grades 9-12 as well as students from our mandatory Prep Year will be in attendance. We are inviting students from Izmir private and public high schools who send students abroad to university and who provide some English-language instruction, so we anticipate good attendance.
In the past, university representatives arrived with 100 brochures, etc, while limiting heavy materials. WI-FI will be made available in the hospitality lounge for university representatives and for those who want to access iPads, etc. at their tables.
