Campus Visit

Please note that registration is required for all official visitor programming. To view available programming, review the general event listings below and then select a date from the calendar at the bottom of this page.

Current on-campus programming: 

• General campus tours: Offered Mondays through Fridays (and select weekend dates) 

• Specialized campus tours: Offered Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
  Specialized tours provide a general introduction to campus and share insights about resources available to all Northwestern students, but each has a specific focus.  
  • Engineering and Design: Explore the McCormick School of Engineering and related design and entrepreneurial spaces. Due to tour guide availability, we are unable to offer summer Engineering and Design Tours. Tours will resume in the fall. 
  • Journalism, Arts and Media: Explore the Medill School of Journalism and the School of Communication, and spaces related to media and broadcast journalism, theatre, dance and fine arts.
  • Labs, Libraries and Learning Beyond the Classroom: Explore the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Education and Social policy, and see research labs, libraries, and other spaces that support study abroad, internships and experiential learning.
• Admissions and Affordability Overview: Offered Mondays through Fridays, and select weekend dates. Admission staff members will provide information on the application and financial aid processes, and address questions. 

• Undergraduate School Information Sessions:
  • Bienen School of Music Info Session and Tour for prospective music majors: Offered most Mondays and Fridays
  • Medill School of Journalism Info Session: Offered most Fridays
