Campus Visit

Please note that registration is required for all official visitor programming. To view available programming, review the general event listings below and then select a date from the calendar at the bottom of this page.

 Current on-campus programming: 

• General campus tours: Offered Mondays through Fridays (and select weekend dates) 

• Specialized campus tours: Offered Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
  Specialized tours provide a general introduction to campus and share insights about resources available to all Northwestern students, but each has a specific focus.  

  • Engineering and Design: explore the McCormick School of Engineering and related design and entrepreneurial spaces. 

  • Journalism, Arts and Media: new, beginning February 16, 2026. Explore the Medill School of Journalism and the School of Communication, and spaces related to media and broadcast journalism, theatre, dance and fine arts.

  • Labs, Libraries and Learning Beyond the Classroom: new, beginning February 16, 2026. Explore the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Education and Social policy, and see research labs, libraries, and other spaces that support study abroad, internships and experiential learning.

• Undergraduate School Information Sessions:

  • Bienen School of Music Info Session and Tour for prospective music majors: Offered most Mondays and Fridays (and select Thursdays)
  • Medill School of Journalism info session: Offered most Fridays
